My poem for Grenfell
Clambering cameraman shoots it all,
The contorted refrigerator door,
Melted cistern hanging from bathroom wall,
Dividing panels black ash upon floor
Fired plastic grease streaking bare concrete,
Empty twisted spare metal window frames,
Exposed mattress springs, revealed bed stead feet,
Blasted patterns wrought by spurting gas flames,
Metallic skeletal homeware litter,
Rooms no longer clearly defined spaces,
From kitchen see cracked ceramic shitter.
Outside broken ashen tear stained faces.
Post the classic black and white images.
Very contrasting, have you seen enough?
